JOURNEY HOME groups
Our JOURNEY HOME groups are the heartbeat of Journey Church. This is where relationships and friendships are formed. Each Home Group has a personality of its own. Whether a different night, time, or focus, each group is kept small so people can really know each other and form lasting friendships. It will allow us connections with people we can call when tragedy strikes and we need prayer right now! Journey Church is all about relationships that endure and help us grow closer not only to God, but to each other. New groups are forming. Ron Corzine
Better known as Son of a Preacher, Ron started the first Christian Fellowship Church in Harlingen, Texas in 1982 and presently serves as a counselor, consultant and apostolic overseer to multiple churches and ministries. He travels nationally and internationally motivating and challenging people to be effective in their call and ministry to their local church, their community, and the marketplace.
IT’S 4 REAL exists to address the problem of moral clarity and authority in South Africa. However we do not focus on the problem – we focus on the solution, and deliver it in a very positive way. We speak of the way things “ought to be”, or “could be”, as opposed to the way things are, and thereby create an appetite for a higher way of living, without being condescending.
Martin McCrory is an entrepreneur, church-planter and Stadium events organiser; he is Managing Director of ITS4REAL (PTY) LTD, a non-profit organization established to inspire the development of personal and corporate Character Authority through motivational media (Martin’s unique, weekly television program has run on SABC for over two years). As an inspirational teacher, Martin is a capacity-builder and a teamwork expert, an on-the-ground strategist committed to empowering lives through principle-centered living.
In January 2006, Curtis and Sara Allerkamp began to devote all of their time to formally establish Mision de Candelilla as a charitable nonprofit and expand its work. Currently the mission serves 10 villages (ejidos) 3 times a year. This entails 9 trips to facilitate 30 clinics per year. Mision de Candelilla has also facilitated several adult and youth construction trips in recent years. These groups have built clinics, replaced roofs on clinics and churches, put sreens on homes and built restroom facilities near the clinics and churches. Families often recieve hygiene packs, school supplies, and bibles.
